Producer and singer-songwriter Carla Morrison, who is of Mexican origin, has made a name for herself in the increasingly exclusive indie music scene of the Southwest. Her passionate, sweet love songs have made her a fan favorite on both sides of the Atlantic, even though she sings virtually exclusively in Spanish. Carla Morrison Early Life
Carla Morrison’s parents, Porfiria Flores and Hilario Morrison, are Mexican immigrants who settled in the border town of Tecate, Baja, California, to raise their daughter. Her father, born with the surname Vera, was later adopted by William Guy Morrison, the son of an English immigrant called Laura Morrison, who settled in California.
